This gelding is what is called a "MisMark"
he has NO pinto in him, it is an appaloosa characteristic.

Aragorn is out of a mare who is 14 HH and his
sire is 14.2 HH.
13.3 HH at this date - will grow in height till
end of 5th year.

Easy to handle and calm, yet still undeniably the prince of the
pasture.
This stunning guy was born full of him self, bold and inquisitive. He
will
stand out in the show ring with his color, size and movement. A TOP
quality
WELL gaited gelding!
Aragorn has the sweetest, friendliest disposition. Already a looker, imagine when he matures! He was started to saddle 3-18-10, he did well no real bumps in the road in training so far. 4-10 We are riding Aragorn 30-45 minutes at a time now, about 1/3 of that in gait. He falls right into gait with little coaxing. I would consider him "well started" to saddle, he has had a good foundation installed! Needs more wet saddle blankets and time to continue his education, but knows basics well and is good, the more he is ridden the better he gets. 5-10 He's is a real gentleman whether you are handling him on the ground or you are riding him. Aragorn is real level headed in his attitude, a bit of a mooch when you handle him. We have only just begun to ask for longer periods of gait, so far he shows himself to be smooth, and that will be more refined as he gets more saddle time. Aragorn completed the - allow himself to be saddled easily - stand still to mount - flex and bend at a standstill - bend in a circle at a walk - give to pressure to back - sort of stuff... with ease. He has not given us one bit of issue and has done very well, but I cannot consider him finished. He is smooth, and Brains +. Although calm and easy going in his training thus far he is still green undersaddle. (no bucks or bolts but inexperienced and needs more wet saddle blankets). Threw him out in the pasture with other colts and geldings to mature more on 7/20/10 with intention of putting more saddle time on him late winter - early spring 2011. Pulled him in 8/22 for a short ride, no issues. We consider Aragorn part of our Second Generation - in that his sire is by an ApHC Stallion out of a Paso Fino mare and Enigma's dam is a Paso Fino mare - Long story short he is 3/4 Paso Fino Bred. De-wormed on a regular schedule, Up to
date on
all shots except West Niles (we don't give it) and trimming, leads and
stands tied as well as be able to handle feet when ready to go!
