Approx. 14hh and not finished growing. Has had extensive groundwork. Moves in gait free in pasture, extremely athletic. Up to date on all shots except West Niles (we don't give it). Dewormed and trimmed on a regular basis.

Loads, leads, stands tied, easily caught in pasture, stands for farrier. Right now she is on a schedule where she is handled 3 x's a week with her age group. I have 2 young ladies (23 and 18 years old) I pay to come and work with me on those days and we have 8 in her group to work. She is caught, brushed, her feet picked out and stands tied for about 2 hours. During that time she and the others in her group are being worked and who ever is not being handled gets to stand tied for practice. Handling at this stage for her consists of sacking out, lounging, being led over Cavalletti and other obstacles. 11-09-06 we added the saddle for Sonata, she continues to carry the saddle when performing the above exercises. 12-13 we added mounting her while standing tied, she was mounted SEVERAL times each session to allow her to get used to the process. Then we began riding with a ground handler backup, she has been great for each progression with a cooperative attitude. 1-2-07 we began to ride her without the handler backup, she is doing GREAT! We have had no fireworks or bad attitude in her training undersaddle so far!  Light with cues. We have not rushed Sonata's training, she has been brought along slow and easy as we do all our horses. I would consider her "Green Broke" at this time. She needs more wet saddle blankets to be consistent, but has a VERY solid foundation.

Of course, the price of the horse increases as the work progresses. Sonata had a Molly Mule  foal  - Lola Dun It - on 3-24-07 she is rebred and available for $3,500 bred for 2008.

She is VERY well gaited and a wonderful disposition, excellent conformation - and gaits naturally in the pasture. Should make great youth horse or endurance horse! Some of the best Paso Fino Bloodlines available, from Registered PFHA stock but registered  NASHA only.
