Citrine is a very nicely bred and well gaited filly. I do not see any indication, at this time, that she has the LP for appaloosa coloring - although she has a 50% chance that it may yet develop. We had hoped to keep her as breeding stock, but have to let our non-colored mares go to continue our program. She is a very classy looking filly who is showing exceptional gait. She’s bred to be a good horse and she definitely is. She can really travel out at a walk and cover some ground in gait, has a short, soft lope and is a super athlete.

Lightly started to saddle 3-09 (about 75 days), then put back out to continue maturing (we usually do not start riding our brood stock until age 5). Should mature to about 14. to 14.2 HH.

Citrine has been taught to lead, have her feet handled, stand tied, brushed and hosed since a youngster and she was on a regular schedule of 3 x's a week with sessions on leading and de-spooking and general behavior. Citrine would stand tied for 20- 30 minutes in each of these sessions. She did quite well!

Nice filly, great disposition, some outstanding breeding. De-wormed on a regular schedule, Up to date on all shots except West Niles (we don't give it).
